The re-shuffled Premier League side of Pegasus FC announced the signing of 5 players from Eastern Europe.
The most prominent among the new arrivals is Macedonian goalkeeper Kristijan Naumovski (born 1988), who was previously the ‘No. 2’ of two regional giants, Dinamo București (Romania) and Levski Sofia (Bulgaria). He also made several appearances for the Macedonian national team.
25-year-old centre back Nejc Mevlja (born 1990) from Slovenia earned his spurs at ND Gorica and NK Maribor, before making several attempts in Scotland (Livingston FC), Romania (CS Pandurii Târgu Jiu) and Bosnia and Herzegovina (HŠK Zrinjski Mostar).
With Ivan Miličević Pegasus FC also acquired a promising Croatian striker, who gained experience at NK Osijek and NK Istra 1961, with a short intermezzo in the NASL, where he joined the San Antonio Scorpions.
Defensive midfielder Dušan Martinović (born 1987) spent the last years at Borac Čačak and Jagodina in the Serbian Super League, where he appeared in almost 100 games.
The name of the 5th signing, allegedly a striker from Montenegro, is yet to be announced
