The HKFA announced the preliminary training squad for the upcoming 39th Guangdong-Hong Kong Cup, including 30 players from Hong Kong. The team will start their training on December 21st. Fans might have a hard time to find familiar faces among the selected players, except for Andy Russell, Cheng King Ho, Tsang Man Fai, Tan Chun Lok, Fong Pak Lun, Tan Chun Lok and Wong Wai.
The 1st leg of the cup will be played on January 1st at the Guangdong People’s Stadium in Guangzhou. On January 4th both teams meet for the return leg at Hong Kong Stadium (Kick Off: 8 pm, Tickets: HK$ 100). You can order your tickets online via HKFA.com.
