APRIL 2016 – Part 2 (Match Days: April 9/10, April 16/17, April 23/24)
CHINESE SUPER LEAGUE
Jack Sealy (Changchung Yatai) – 2x substituted
Changchun Yatai 0:1 Hebei CFFC
Chongqing Lifan 1:1 Changchun Yatai
Changchun Yatai 1:3 Shanghai SIPG
As expected, Yatai is having a hard time this season to keep up with the rest of the CSL teams and are on the bottom of the league. However, Jack Sealy seems to be back in the squad. The right back was substituted in the second half for two games, however, he was missing the latest round against title contender Shanghai SIPG, suffering a 1-3 defeat at home.
CHINA LEAGUE ONE
Lee Chi Ho (Meizhou Kejia) – in starting XI
Yiteng FC 0:2 Meizhou Kejia
Meizhou Kejia 6:0 Hunan Billows
Beijing Beikong 4:2 Meizhou Kejia
Lee Chi Ho still holds up a 100% appearance record for China League One newcomer Meizhou Kejia this season and his team is currently ranked on a solid 6th place. Keep it up!
Festus Baise (Guizhou Zhicheng) – in starting XI
Hunan Billows 0:2 Guizhou Zhicheng
Guizhou Zhicheng 1:1 Beijing Beikong
Dalian Transcendence FC 1:2 Guizhou Zhicheng
After being suspended for a red card in the 3rd round, Festus Baise has been back on track and appeared in all three of the latest Guizhou Zhicheng games, in which his team grabbed 7 points, which lifts them up to the 9th place.
Au Yeung Yiu Chung (Guizhou Zhicheng) – n/a
Hunan Billows 0:2 Guizhou Zhicheng
Guizhou Zhicheng 1:1 Beijing Beikong
Dalian Transcendence FC 1:2 Guizhou Zhicheng
Unfortunately Au Yeung has disappeared from the recent roster, as he seems to suffer from another injury. We hope to see him back in the team as soon as possible.
Godfred Karikari (Qingdao Hainiu) – starting XI
Qingdao Hainiu 3:2 Xinjiang Tianshan
Qingdao Hainiu 2:1 Yiteng FC
Hunan Billows 1:4 Qingdao Hainiu
Godfred Karikari made his way back into the starting XI, where he appeared in the last three games. On April 16th, he also scored the winning goal against Yiteng FC in the 83rd minute. Qingdao Hainiu are now 3rd in China League One, just 1 point behind Dalian Aerbin and 2 points behind Tianjin Quanjian.
Jean-Jacques Kilama (Tianjin Quanjian) – in starting XI
Beijing Beikong 0:1 Tianjian Quanjian
Tianjin Quanjian 2:0 Dalian Transcendence FC
Nei Mongol Zhongyou 0:0 Tianjin Quanjian
Kilama missed two games due to an injury, but he was back in the starting XI on April 23rd for the nil-nil draw with the club from Inner Mongolia. The Tianjin powerhouse is still on top of China League One, collecting 14 points in 6 games.
Ng Wai Chiu (Tianjin Quanjian) – not in squad
Beijing Beikong 0:1 Tianjian Quanjian
Tianjin Quanjian 2:0 Dalian Transcendence FC
Nei Mongol Zhongyou 0:0 Tianjin Quanjian

Paulinho (Shenzhen FC) – starting XI / substituted
Shenzhen FC 2:1 Wuhan Zall FC
Beijing Renhe 2:0 Shenzhen FC
Shenzhen FC 0:1 Dalian Aerbin
On April 10th Paulinho entered the game in the 64th minute as substitute and one week later he appeared in the starting XI for Shenzhen’s away game in Beijing. However, he missed the latest fixture against Dalian, after which Shenzhen is now ranked 5th.
Itaparica (Xinjiang Tianshan) – in starting XI
Qingdao Hainiu 3:2 Xinjiang Tianshan
Xinjiang Tianshan 2:0 Shanghai Shenxin
Xinjiang Tianshan 0:1 Yiteng FC
The Number 10 missed just one of the last three games, but both against Qingdao and Yiteng FC he started from the beginning. Right now Xinjiang Tianshan are only on the 14th spot in the league and might be soon involved in the relegation battle against Dalian Transcendence (15th) and Nei Mongol Zhongyou (16th).
