The Football Association just confirmed that the AFC approved Hong Kong’s nominations for the Asian Champions League, with Eastern starting in the group stage and Kitchee in the 2nd preliminary round.
Kitchee will play against Hanoi T&T (Vietnam) at home on 31 Jan 2017 (1-leg only). The winner will proceed to the playoff stage and face the host Jeju United FC (Korea) on 7 Feb 2017.
The official draw for the group stage will be held on 13 Dec 2016.
