Hong Kong held North Korea to a respectable 1-1 draw in their Asian Cup 2019 Group B qualifying match at Hong Kong stadium. Hong Kong took the lead through Tan Chun-lok just before half time. A defensive lapse saw Kim Yu Song equalize right at the start of the second half. Hong Kong did have further chances to win the game but failed to take their opportunities.
