Pivotal to Hong Kong Pegasus’s end of season cup double has been the ceaseless effort and high octane drive of Montenegrin Admir Adrovic whose relentless pace and commitment saw him net crucial goals in both finals. Adrovic also played every minute of both games (both went into extra-time) which is a testament to his resilience and grit and willingness to sacrifice for the the greater good.
Basking in the post game glory of the Henderson Sapling Cup win, Adrovic had a quick chat about Pegasus’s amazing end of season blaze of glory.
This is your second cup final win in a few days so how do you feel?
I feel awesome and I am very happy. This is a young team but we worked very hard and together so I think we deserve this.
You have the play-offs coming very soon so will you all take a few days off to rest?
Tomorrow and tonight we can celebrate this win and then we will begin to focus on our next game against Kitchee.
